Patrick A. Finn, Ltd. History

After immigrating from Ireland Patrick A. Finn began his career at the age of eighteen as a carpenter in England, and soon after achieved master craftsman status. This status enabled Patrick to serve his clients with fine craftsmanship, attention to detail, and complex designs.

Wanting to explore a larger market, Patrick came to the United States in 1987, with only his experience, dedication, and desire to show his craft. Within a few years his work in the historic parts of Chicago and the North Shore suburbs captured the attention of some prominent architects and designers. In 1991 Patrick founded his own construction company, Patrick A. Finn, Ltd.

Patrick quickly recognized that quality and consistency were only achievable by having his own team of talented employees. Having employees who share the same vision – to complete a project with outstanding results on time and within budget – helped Patrick perform the high caliber of work he was used to, only now on a larger scale. He built a reputation for fairness and quality, and this reputation spread. Referrals for new business quickly grew his company.

Since 1991, Patrick A. Finn, Ltd. has grown from a few remodeling projects to over 350 homes that can be found from Lincoln Park and Hyde Park, to the North Shore, and the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Arlington Heights and Barrington.  Patrick’s personal attention to each project assures that the high level of craftsmanship he started out with in England finds its way to your home today.
